Mission of Littlestown Area Historical Society

The mission of the Littlestown Area Historical Society is to foster interest in the history of Littlestown and vicinity, conduct research, preserve records and objects and pursue such activities as may be related to the history of the community.

Vision of Littlestown Area Historical Society

The vision of the Littlestown Area Historical Society is to establish a historic facility within the littlestown area to house documents, records and items, educate the community about the history of the Littlestown area, and provide a headquarters and meeting place for the on going programs of the society. This would include an internet web format where historic information could be stored and shared with those who are interested in the diverse history of the area. The long range vision includes the eventual establishment of an agricultural and industrial museum(s) for the preservation of and viewing the many techniques, equipment and facilities that were once such a significant part of the everyday life of the Littlestown area.
