7. Be Visually Interesting not
Visually Irritating

8. Provide Content, Content, Content

9. Eliminate Mazes (Create Easy Navigation)

10. Prune, Plant, Deadhead and Fertilize


Ten Ways to Irritate Visitors to Your Web Site:

1. Have really cluttered pages that load slowly

2. Use large graphics that load slowly

3. Use busy backgrounds

4. Use white lettering and long pages

5. Require plug-ins

6. Make your site difficult to find the information for which they are looking.
